Pulp left from juicing veggies and fruit is another story. I don't like wasting it. Since I got my new Jack Lalanne Juicer, I am trying to be creative in making use of the leftover pulp.
The pulp has high fiber and a lot of fruit or veggies flavor. I freeze the pulp of carrots, apples, and other sweet fruit to use them in my cookies recipe. Spinach, pumpkin, pepper and beans can be used in soups. A quick and easy way to make dips would be to mix veggies pulp with spices and olive oil.
Dietary fiber is the part of plant produce that our system just can't digest. It goes by within our digestive pathway absorbing water across the way and improving intestinal movements. Fiber will give nourishment or calories, and yet it is especially good for us.
Fiber is useful to maintain our intestinal activities healthy and avert specific diseases. Fiber tie with the cancer casuing agent, carcinogens, in the bowel and make it pass through bowel more quickly compared to they otherwise would, decreasing the risk for digestive tract cancer. Fiber also aids in moving cholesterol out of peoples system, reducing our possibility for heart disease.
The shake diet program is ideal for people with bowel irregularity problems. Shakes as opposed to fruit juices retain fibers as blenders do not separate the fiber away.
You might, based on your objectives from your diet plan, want to consider a smoothie diet which is rich with fiber, or utilize juicing recipes to prepare juices that give vitamins, minerals along with other nutrients easier to the blood stream.
It is not complicated to know how to make a smoothie if you have a good blender.
Kale to Avoid Cancer!
Many people are turning to Alternative Medicine, herbs and natural resources to treat their ailments. "Prevention is better than intervention", if we watch what we eat, we can avoid many health problems. I always believed that food can heal our systems and restore the balance of the body. In an over processed society, chemicals are everywhere around us and we don't need more chemicals to take control of our systems.
I have recently grown very fond of kale and I try to include it in my meal preparation. Kale is another super food that we all neglect including it in our daily diet. Researchers found that kale can lower cholesterol levels, fight cancer, and help cleanse the liver. Kale is a true reservoir of nutrients and other vitamins and minerals. However it is low in calories, so it is useful in weight management too. I use kale pulp to stuff vegetarian enchilada.Raw Crackers
